# Why did my Replo credit balance go down?

> Learn how Replo spends your monthly, purchased, and free credits as it works on your requests.

Your credit balance shows under **Billing** in [Settings](https://docs.replo.app/apps/settings.md), and it goes down as Replo works on your requests.

Credits are spent as Replo works, and each request spends credits based on the work involved. Monthly credits are used first and reset each billing period. Purchased credits are used after them and never expire. Free credits are granted once and don't refill.
