Install Replo’s skills in your coding workspace so your AI client can follow Replo’s patterns for branding, product data, page edits, and publishing.

Before you begin

  • Open the workspace where you want to work in Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or another client that supports Agent Skills.
  • Connect Replo if you want the client to access your Replo projects. Installing skills alone does not connect your account.
  • Replo skills for the official Claude and ChatGPT directory connections are still under review. The steps below install skills in coding clients.

Give your coding client the skills guide

Copy this page’s URL from your browser and paste it into your coding client’s chat with this request:
You can also run the installer yourself in the workspace terminal:
Follow the installer’s prompts to select your client and project scope. Use npx skills add replohq/skills --list to list available skills.

Check the installation

Ask your client to confirm that it can read the installed skills:
You should see the saved skill locations and a summary of their guidance. If your client does not discover the new skills, start a new chat in the same workspace.

Use them on a real task

Name your Replo project and site, then ask for an outcome. Use one of the examples below and replace the bracketed values.

Bring in a Figma brand

The design must be accessible through a connected Figma account. The skills explain the workflow; they do not grant access to the file. Review the resulting brand kit and preview before applying more changes.

Connect Shopify to the Replo project first. Check that the preview uses your actual products and that its links lead to the right pages.

How skills work with Replo

Two ways an external agent works on a Replo project, and every skill says which it uses:
  1. Edit the site’s code directly. Every Replo site is a Next.js repo — resolve it with list_projects → list_sites, mint a key with create_api_key, clone per the Git docs, and edit with a local dev server. Publish with publish_site when the user asks.
  2. Ask a Replo session. Anything that needs Replo’s in-workspace tools — brand extraction, template library installs, writes to a connected integration — is one start_agent_session prompt away.
Each skill links to its source. They are written for an agent to read, not a person, so install them rather than following them by hand.
