Branding is new and still being refined. The core flow works well, but expect naming and details to keep improving.
Choose your starting point
When you set up your project’s brand, you pick how you want to begin.- Import from website
- Guided setup
- Start blank
Best if you already have a site. Paste a URL and Branding learns your colors, fonts, logo, and imagery from it, then turns that into a brand kit you can refine.
Build a brand kit from chat
You do not have to open Branding first. You can ask Replo to put a brand kit together for you, and it will generate one and open it in Branding for review.Fill in the rest
Ask Replo to finish the kit and it picks up with whatever is still empty. “Fill in the rest from our site” keeps everything you set and fills only the gaps. “Use their fonts” or “use their colors” replaces only that part. If the brand has never been imported, Import from website keeps what you already added and fills the remaining gaps. What is in your brand
However you start, the brand’s overview gives you the same sections:- Brand assets: your logo, logomark, and favicon. Upload your own or let an import pull them in.
- Colors: your palette, grouped into roles like primary, secondary, and accent.
- Typography: your fonts and how each one is used.
- Overview: your business details and a summary of the brand. Use Edit details to change what the business sells, who it is for, and the other facts Replo should know.
- Personas: the customer profiles Replo should keep in mind while writing and building.
- References: examples of visual directions you want Replo to learn from.
- Context: your business and design documents, plus other project files you want Replo to read with the brand.
- Assets: the images and videos Replo should use in the pages and other work it creates.
Business details and written context
Use Edit details on the overview to keep your business facts current. Add written background, voice guidelines, or design notes under Context. Replo reads these documents before writing for your brand. Context groups your files under Business context, Design context, and Other files; the two overview documents appear as Business overview and Design overview.Keep your project brand current
Each project has one brand. Changes to its details, colors, fonts, assets, personas, references, and context save automatically. Use the actions above the brand to keep it up to date:- Update from website reads the latest logo, colors, fonts, and business details from the same site. Your personas, documents, and images stay in place.
- Replace brand asks you to start over from a different website. Replacing with a different source empties the current brand, including its personas, reference sites, documents, and brand images, before importing the new site. A failed import does not restore it. If Replo could not start reading the site, check Branding to see what remains before retrying. Replacement cannot be undone.
- Delete brand removes the project’s brand and its brand context. Other files in Files stay in place.
- Apply branding to site starts a chat request to apply the current project brand to the active site. Replo reads the latest brand before updating the site’s colors, fonts, logo, and other matching design choices.
How it fits together
Your project brand is the source of truth for how your store looks. When Replo builds in the Site Builder, it pulls colors and fonts from the brand so you set the look once instead of styling each page by hand. The same colors and typography also show up in the Site Builder’s Design library. After you update the brand, use Apply branding to site to bring the active site’s design back in line with it. Want to see it in action? Set up a brand kit, then ask Replo to build with it.Related
