Replo workspaces have two roles. Both can handle everyday workspace work; the Owner role also controls destructive project and workspace changes and who else can be an Owner.

Overview of permission levels

Permissions categorize workspace participants into two roles:
  • Owner: Everything a Member can do, plus moving or deleting projects, deleting the workspace, and changing who has the Owner role.
  • Member: Can manage workspace details, billing, members, projects, integrations, and other day-to-day work. Members cannot move or delete projects, delete the workspace, promote someone to Owner, or demote an Owner.

Permissions detail

The permission levels dictate what actions can be performed within the workspace by Owners and Members. The table below outlines these capabilities:

Assigning roles

Owners can invite someone as an Owner or Member. Members can invite other Members.

Modifying member roles

Only Owners can promote Members to Owners or demote Owners to Members. Members can still invite, update, and remove other Members. For help with workspace permissions, email support@replo.app.
